"National
Day
of Prayer and Remembrance"
for the Victims of
Hurricane Katrina.
Pastor Gerry M. Kaye
Remember?
How shall we forget?
The poor, the disabled, the feeble,
abandoned,
the thirsty, hungry,
empty handed.
The desperate, assaulted, the pleading,
stranded.
The mourners, the searching, the giving
demanded.
Remiss officials,
reprimanded.
How shall GOD Forget?
Prayer?
What then shall we pray?
There's a saying that comforts hearts of men,
when their beloved pass, embrace:
"They've gone to a better place."
Those who survive must start anew
with broken lives, this they must do,
and pray for a better place; yet,
FATHER,
How shall we ever forget?
In the Name of our LORD,
Amen.
."Living"
Christ Resurrected.
Let there be a moment of silence.
